Heath Perkins  - Owner/ Instructor

Graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. He also received his M.B.A. from Norwich University in Vermont. While in college Heath cheered for the University of Georgia and Austin Peay State University. Heath also performed in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Heath has over 20 years of cheerleading coaching experience and has coached competitive cheerleading teams to numerous regional, state, and national titles. Additionally, he has helped Columbus State University become one of the top Division II cheerleading programs in the Nation. Heath is also an Instructor for the School of Applied Business at Columbus Technical College. Heath is Emergency First Responder, CPR, and AED for children/ adult and First Aid instructor.

Joey Gill (Manager)

Graduated from Winder-Barrow High School.  He cheered for five years with Columbus State University and finished in the top five every year.  His last year in college he received the Rebecca “Granny” Davis Award (cheerleader of the year).  Joey also cheered for two years in high school and on All-Stars, where he won many regional and national titles.  He has coached cheerleading and tumbling for nine years, and has coached teams to over fifty regional, state, and national titles.  Joey is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Clint Perkins (Assistant Manager/Instructor)

Graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Nutrition Science. Clint was the captain of the Division 1 cheer team at Georgia Southern University. He led the GSU Eagles to three consecutive top five finishes at the UCA College Nationals. Clint also performed in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Mandy Hood (All-Stars Director/Instructor)

Graduated from Shiloh High School and Columbus State University. Mandy currently teaches Pre-K at St. Thomas. Additionally, she was a part of the competition cheerleading squad all four years of high school. The squad placed first at the State Competition in 2002. She was also a three time All-American cheerleader. Mandy is a member of the Columbus State University Cheerleading squad and has been for four years now. The team placed second in 2004 and second in 2005 at UCA College Nationals. Mandy is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and the Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Marquise Strong (Summer Camp Director / Instructor / All-Star Coach)

Graduated from Shiloh High School and also cheered for three years as a member of the S.W.A.T Team, Shiloh’s Varsity competition team.  He was a member of the 2002 State Championship team and was an All-American in 2003. He has won numerous individual stunt-off honors in both school and All-Stars.  Marquise was also a member of the nationally ranked Columbus State University Large Coed cheerleading squad.  He has been coaching cheerleading and tumbling for more than 12 years and has lead teams to numerous regional and national championships.  He is also a choreographer who has worked with many teams in both GHSA and All-Stars as well as internationally with the DoD.  Marquise is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification and Emergency First Response, and is CPR certified.

Steven Torres (Tumbling Director/Instructor)

Graduated from Central High School. Steven is a former member of the North American Sport Karate Association Tour, where he was the National and World Champion in Men’s Forms for four years in a row. Steven has instructed karate and tumbling for over seven years, and has been coaching cheerleading for over four years. Steven is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and the Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Drew Lyons (Instructor / All-Star Coach)

Graduated from Troup High School. Drew currently attends Columbus State University and is majoring in Geology. He was a part of his high school cheerleading squad for 3 years. Drew was a member of the 2008 UCA college national champions with Columbus State University. Drew also cheered for the Python All-Stars. Drew is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Brittny Shackelford (Instructor / All-Star Coach)

Graduated from Shaw High School in 2007.  Brittny was a member of the Shaw High School cheerleading squad for 3 years and cheered as a Python All-Star for 4 years including an undefeated season and more than 15 national titles. She also cheered for 2 years on the nationally ranked Columbus State Cheerleading team.  She has coached cheerleading and tumbling for the past 8 years.  Brittny is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Xavier Lewis (Instructor)

Xavier D. Lewis Graduated from Hardaway High school in 2016 where he cheered for 1 year of competition cheer. He has been coaching tumbling and cheerleading for 2 years. Currently, Xavier is a sophomore at Columbus State pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He also cheers for Columbus State competition team. Xavier is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Brianna Loryn Shackelford (All-Star Coach/Floor Manager)

Graduated from Harris County High School. Brianna cheered for the Python All-stars for over 10 years. During her time on All-stars her teams won multiple National Championships and competed at the Summit competition. She cheered for Columbus State University for one year. She is currently enrolled at CSU as a pre-nursing major. Brianna is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Cassidy Drysdale (Summer Camp Instructor)

She is a graduate of Columbus High School and The University of Georgia. Cassidy cheered all 4 years of high school and was part of the 2008 State Champion team. Cassidy has also won several national titles on the Python All-Stars. As a former Columbus State University cheerleader, Cassidy was a 2011 UCA college national runner-up and placed 4th in the UCA Partner Stunt competition. Cassidy also cheered and competed three years with The University of Georgia.  Cassidy is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Dominic Watts (Instructor)

Graduated from Coffee High School. Dominic cheered for one year in high school then went on to cheer for Faulkner State Community College for two years. He then enrolled at Columbus State University and cheered for CSU for 2 years. Dominic is majoring in Health and Physical Education. Dominic is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification and Emergency First Responder and is CPR certified.

Emilio Evans-Pagan (Instructor)

Emilio was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and raised in Columbus, Georgia.  He attended Hardaway High School and cheered his senior year as part of one of their first developing Co-Ed programs. He graduated in 2016 and is now continuing his career in Cheerleading at Columbus State University. Emilio studies Exercise Science in pursuit of a profession in Physical Therapy.  Emilio is also currently an E-3 in the United States Army Reserves and is First Response and CPR certified.

Ragan Jackson - (Receptionist)

Graduated from Harris County High School in 2015.  Ragan cheered on the high school competition cheer team for 2 years and has been working at United for 4 months.  Currently, Ragan attends Columbus State University pursuing a degree in Nursing.  Ragan is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Response and is CPR certified.

Mackenzie Hintay (All-Star Coach/Instructor)

Mackenzie graduated from High School in 2014. She cheered for 5 years in Clarksville, Tennessee where she also volunteered and coached. Before she began her cheerleading career, she did competitive dance/choreography in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Mackenzie began working/cheering for United Cheerleading in 2014. As a cheerleader and an assistant coach, she won many regional and national titles. She also won Commander awards for Public Service inside and outside the military bases where she lived. Mackenzie is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Alexis Blalock (All-Star Coach/Instructor)

Graduated from Columbus High School in 2016. Alexis cheered for her high school team for 2 years, finishing 4th in the State at the GHSA State Championship. Alexis also cheered for the Python All-stars for 10 years.  During her time on All-stars her teams won multiple National Championships and competed at the Summit competition.  She cheered for Columbus State University for one year. She is currently enrolled at Columbus State University as a Pre-Nursing major. Alexis is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Sammyra Smith (All-Star Coach/Instructor)

Sammyra Smith graduated from Shaw High School in 2016, where she did competition cheerleading for 2 years and dance team for 1 year. She cheered at United Cheerleading for 14 consecutive years winning many National championships and competing at the Summit competition during her cheerleading career. Sammyra has been coaching cheerleading and tumbling since 2016.  She is currently a sophomore in college at Georgia Military College and will be transferring to CSU to major in exercise science.  Sammyra is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Taylor Darr (All-Star Coach/Instructor)

Graduated from Northside High School in 2016. Taylor cheered all 4 years at Northside. Her team won region 3 times and placed in the top 6 at the GHSA State Championships every year. She cheered for the Python All-stars for over 10 years. During her time on All-stars her teams won multiple National Championships and competed at the Summit competition. Currently she attends Columbus State University pursuing a degree in Nursing. Taylor is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Marquise Strong - (Manager)

McKenzie Reeves - Front Desk Receptionist

Kenzie is a Senior at Troup High School. She plans to attend Lagrange College in the fall and majoring in Nursing. She has cheered on the competition team all 4 years of her High School Career and has been a part of Troup’s recent success at the GHSA State Championships. She also cheered with United Python All-Stars for several years and was a part of 2 National Championship teams. Kenzie is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Cameron Cato - (Instructor)

Cameron graduated from Troup High School in …  Cato cheered for two years at Troup and was also an all-star at United for 3 years.  He is currently enrolled at LaGrange College in the nursing program.  Cato is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification and Emergency First Responder and is CPR certified.

Charzhondra Davis - Instructor

Graduated from Calhoun High School. She competed and cheered both basketball and football spirit squads all four years of her High School career. She won numerous individual stunt/ jump-off contests and was an All-American cheerleader in 2012. She is currently a Senior at Columbus State University where she studies Sociology. She also cheered for Columbus State for four years on both the coed and all girl squads’ placing in the top 5 at College Nationals all 4 years. She received the Rebecca “Granny” Davis Award (cheerleader of the year) at Columbus State University. She has coached tumbling and All-Star cheerleading for years and volunteer coached special needs cheer program in 2012.  Charzhondra is certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification, and an Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Dominic Watts (Instructor)

Graduated from Coffee County High School in 2004. Dominic cheered for one year in high school then went on to cheer for Faulkner State Community College for two years. He then enrolled at Columbus State University and cheered for CSU for 2 years, where he achieved a UCA Nationals title in 2008.
